Parastep Clinical Programs    *SECTION UNDER CONSTRUCTION*

Villa Margherita Neurorehabilitation and Research Center is a 15th century old building recently converted in one of Italy's most modern clinical facilities. It is located on the foothills of Monteberico, Arcugnano, inVicenza, Italy, about 45 miles west of Venice.		Parastep I Users, Paolo Tontodonati and Tomasso Collini at the finish a 1.5 kilometer walk in Capri, Italy, part of the city's "Marathon Run" celebration.
PTs (left to right) Cristina Parise, Massimiliano Di Berardino and head PT Antonio Rizzetto with a T-4 spinal cord injured research subject during an "energy consumption" and "metabolic expenditure" test. The metabolic test is performed at the end of the FES Walking Program, under standard conditions and while walking on a treadmill for a maximum continuous (walking) time at the subject's maximum self-preferred speed.  Following the test, the prescribing MD is able to recommend the optimal parameters at which the subject may obtain maximum benefit from walking with his/her Parastep I System.
